Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, competent care by closely following each individual’s personalized plan of care

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence and well-being

• Monitor and promptly report any changes in a client’s physical or mental condition or home environment

• Provide reliable transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings

• Support the implementation of individual support plans and behavioral goals

• Uphold strict confidentiality and ethical standards

• Administer medications safely while adhering to all policies and procedures

• Complete accurate, timely documentation to track progress and outcomes

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities

• Ability to pass criminal background and registry checks

• Valid driver’s license with a registered and insured vehicle

• Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain required certifications: DSP training, CPR (renewed every 2 years), CPI (renewed annually), and CRMA (renewed every 2 years)
